Car Shopping

Who would've thought that car shopping would be such a freaking headache?!?! We keep finding things we like with a decent price, we get approved, but our payments are too much! I've found a Jeep Grand Cherokee that I absolutely loved and I then we found a Chevy Tahoe, that was beautiful, but I'm not paying $500.00 a month for a $13,000 vehicle. The boyfriends truck is a $22,000 vehicle and our payments are only $410.00 a month. Our problem is that I have ZERO credit...that's screwing us with an interest rate, even though his credit score is 720 (which is great for a 23 year old man!) Oh well, I'm going to go talk to my bank today and see what they can do. Hopefully they can give me a good deal! At least they know they'll get paid! My little 1999 Mercury Tracer just isn't working. We had an actually blizzard the other night, schools were closed, businesses were closed, the roads were closed, etc... and my car got stuck in my culdasac and I had to carry my girls up my road and up my driveway in the freezing cold snow! It was miserable! I don't want to go through that again! I guess just wish me luck!

Hmm...you should probably get a credit card in just your name that you use a little bit and pay off. Even if it is just for groceries and you just charge a little bit each month, it will be convenient, and it will build your credit file pretty fast.

If you ever go to buy a house, they will base it off of both of you, not just him.

We have a house...it's in his name only. They said he has excellent credit, it just hasn't been established long enough. He's had it for 5 years, how long do they want you to have it? It's a mess.
