Wow! The boyfriend and both of my girls just left to go to Grand Junction. They will be staying all night and coming home tomorrow. I had to stay behind because I have to work today and tomorrow. The reason they are going is because our truck is having issues and nobody can fix it here for another 2 weeks, they can get him in today in Junction. What am I going to do tonight? Maybe sleep ALL NIGHT LONG for the first time in almost 6 months!?!?!
I thought it was funny when the boyfriend called the automotive shop today in Junction. The mechanic told him he had people canceling because there was a whole 1 inch of snow and nobody wanted to leave their houses! Well we have 3 FEET and it's snowing again this morning! I wish WE only had 1 inch! I'm sick of winter, the cold, and the miserable snow, and it's only January! I can't wait for the 90 degree weather, the lake, the pool, baseball season (so I can watch my beloved Derek Jeter!) etc... I want to plant flowers, mow my yard, watch it rain, I just want winter to be over. I'm sick of the -20 degree nights and the 9 degree days!
Tonight will be interesting, but I guarantee I'll be awake at 12, 3, and 6, like I normally am with the baby! I think I'll take a long hot bath, read my book and eat Taco Bell!
