Being a Mommy

Being a Mother...Somebody said it takes about six weeks to get back to normal after you've had a baby. Somebody doesn't know that once you're a mother, "Normal," is history.

Somebody said you learn how to be a mother by instinct...Somebody never took a three-year-old shopping.

Somebody said being a mother is boring ...Somebody never rode in a car driven by a teenager with a driver's permit.

Somebody said if you're a "good" mother, your child will "turn out good." Somebody thinks a child comes with directions and a guarantee.

Somebody said "good" mothers never raise their voices....Somebody never came out the back door just in time to see her child hit a golf ball through the neighbor's kitchen window.

Somebody said you don't need an education to be a mother. Somebody never helped a fourth grader with her math.

Somebody said you can't love the fifth child as much as you love the first. Somebody doesn't have five children.

Somebody said a mother can find all the answers to her child-rearing questions in the books. Somebody never had a child stuff beans up his nose or in his ears.

Somebody said the hardest part of being a mother is labor and delivery...Somebody never watched her "baby" get on the bus for the first day of kindergarten...or on a plane headed for military "boot camp."

Somebody said a mother can do her job with her eyes closed and one hand tied behind her back. Somebody never organized four giggling Brownies to sell cookies.

Somebody said a mother can stop worrying after her child gets married....Somebody doesn't know that marriage adds a new son or daughter-in-law to a mother's heartstrings.

Somebody said a mother's job is done when her last child leaves home....Somebody never had grandchildren.

Somebody said your mother knows you love her, so you don't need to tell her. Somebody isn't a mother.

The People I Love The Most

Katee: You changed my life in so many ways, you were the first person to show me what true love is. You amaze me in so many ways everyday. You are too smart for your own good and I hope that quality stays with you for the rest of your life. Watch your mouth growing up though, it will get you in trouble!

Kaci: I believe that you saved mine and your fathers relationship. Things were so bad between us until you were born. You brought your family back together and I will never forget that. You are such a happy little girl and you trust everyone, you are my baby and you always will be.

Scotty: You gave me the two most important things in my life. You have made me a mother, and a "wife." I know nobody thought we'd ever make it but you are my hero and I love you so much. You spoil me and you show me everyday how much you love me. Thank you for always being there.

Mom: You are my mother when I need it and you are my best friend when I need one of those. I can tell you everything about anything, and I never feel embarrassed about any of it. You were there for me when I needed you the most, and you mean everything to me. I know we have some differences but I'm still your daughter, its going to happen!

Dad: I've always been 'daddy's little girl.' If it wasn't for him I wouldn't love the game of Softball. I believe that my softball was what kept my head on my shoulders and made me who I am today. I blame him for raising a smart, strong, daughter who always put her school and sports before anything else.

Mimi: We've always been really close. You are great with my girls and great with me. You might not know everything about me, but for what you do know, you never judge me.

Poppa: You are the most independent, strong hearted, forgiving person I know. You don't judge and you stay out of everyone ese's shit. I really admire that about you.

Katy: When I was down at my lowest you were always there for me. You did everything in your will power to help me with your grandson. You are an amazing person.

Logan: You are such a pain in the ass, but you are like my twin. That's all I can say, I do love you, but you are just so fun to pick on! :)

Zach: Just a year ago you didn't care about anything or anyone, now you are showing everyone that you do care. I'm very proud of what you are accomplishing. I told you you could do it.

Taren: I know we aren't that close anymore, but I still think we were separated at birth!

Ashley: You are an awesome mom to two very beautiful little boys. You are so strong and I don't think you will ever be weak.

Erin: You are the reason I'm starting to like Craig. You are a drama free person who just likes to have a good time! I always enjoy myself when we are together. You are one of the best people I have ever met...oh, and your husbands okay to! ;)

Timberly: I don't even know where to start with you. You are the strongest person to ever live. You have overcome cancer, twice, and you live life to the fullest. Your beautiful and I love you so, so much!

Last, but not least, Ally: You were there for me when I was pregnant with Katee. That was the scariest most exciting time of my life. Thank you for everything you've done!







On another note, I took my car to the shop, surprise, nothings wrong! Yay! I think we got into some bad gas, because after I refilled my light turned off and it stopped running rough. My dad, brother and sister came to visit this weekend, we rented movies and went bowling. The boyfriend and I also bought a 2008 Polaris Ranger. I guess that should be fun!?!?! Sorry, I don't write that often but being a mommy to a three year old and a 7 month old, is very time consuming. Kaci turned 7 months yesterday, crazy how time flies!

My Boring Life

Its been almost a week since Ive wrote last and I still don't have anything exciting going on in my life. Next month I have to go to Meeker for a week for stupid Bankers Training, I don't know what I'm going to do for a week without the boyfriends and without the girls! Maybe I'll go to the Rec Center and run on the treadmill every night after class, humm.

I have some bad news too, I have to take my car to the shop already next week. My check engine light is on and its running really rough when I'm stopped at a red light or a stop sign. I really hope that my new vehicle doesn't turn out to be a bigger headache then my little car was.

I hate that my mom is gone! I haven't talked to her in a couple days and that's a long span for us! We usually talk everyday, two-three times a day. So I can't wait for her to come home. I think if shes not to busy the girls and I will go visit her this weekend, plus I need to get my Girl Scout Cookies from my sister!

Back To Work

I have to go back to work today, I also have to see if I can change my hours, again, to work with my daycare. My oldest is having trouble getting along with another little girl. The other little girl starts the fights and etc. everytime, thats why I'm confused why I have to change not the other mother. I'm so stressed out because I can't afford to cut my hours, I have a new car payment and insurance payment I have to take care of. I guess I'm going to have to start looking for another babysitter...

Well, the boyfriend did make it home. It took them longer to track the Mountain Lion than they thought. The snow was to deep too make good time.

Yesterday the boyfriend and I decided that in April we are going to go to Mesquite or Vegas for a few days without the girls. We invited a couple to go with us, so hopefully they can make it. I was teasing him the other night saying if we end up in Vegas we should go get married! He really didn't say anything, but it was funny anyways! It'll happen one of these days! No rush!

So Frustrating....

So last night, at 10:00, the boyfriend decided to go hunting with a friend of his. He said he wouldn't be out to late and he'd keep in touch throughout the night. Well, I heard from him at about 5:00 saying he just shot a Mountain Lion, and he was going to go get the hunting dogs and then come home. Well, its now 10:40 am and I haven't heard a word! The other guys wife hasn't heard anything either. I really hope they didn't go and get themselves hurt, stuck, whatever. I think if I haven't heard from them in about an hour I might just have to go looking for them. Ahhh, I'm so pissed!

So yesterday was Valentines Day, I never get anything on this day. The boyfriend says there shouldn't be one day a year that you buy flowers, say I love you , go to dinner, etc. He has a good point, but hey, what the hell, right!?! Anyways, the last and only time I have recieved something on Valentines Day was in 2004. The boyfriend sent me a dozen long stemed roses to school. It was sweet. Plus, it was fun carrying them around from class to class for his crazy ex-girlfriend to see!

Yesterday morning, when he came home from work, he walked in with a dozen red roses, a pink teddy bear (for Kaci) and a red teddy bear (for Katee). It caught me compltely off quard, I wasn't expecting it at all. It made my day. Flowers are great every once in a while!

I hope everyone had a good Valentines Day. Mom, I know yours sucked but at least you know he loves you and you got to have Logan there instead of being all alone.

I guess I need to get up and get ready to go to work, I hate Fridays, but then again, I love them. We are always so busy but my five hours seems to go so fast! I hope everyone has a good friday and a great weekend!

Kaci and Her Shots

The girls had a doctors appointment on Monday. Crap! Kaci doesn't do well with her shots, and of course she had to get three. She still has a fever two days later. It was kind-of funny to see that Katee, who is three, weighs 26 pounds, and Kaci, who is 6 months old, weighed 16 pounds! Katee is a VERY small three year old. Everyone who sees her thinks shes two. The main reason she is so small is because I tried to breast feed her for 6 weeks. I THOUGHT I had milk and thought she was doing fine. That was until she was losing weight and got down to almost 4 pounds after she was born. She weighted 7lbs 13ozs at birth. Ever since then shes always been a little petite girl. As long as shes healthy I don't care what she weighs!

Sorry this is short and swwet and I haven't wrote in a while, I've just been busy and nothing interesting has been going on in my life. The crazy bitch hasn't bothered us in a while which is amazing, and everything in my lifes perfect right now! Everyone have a wonderful Valentines Day!
