So I know its been a while since I've been on this thing, but I've been really busy! I got a new job working for the school district as an aide for special needs children. I love it! Its hard physically and mentally, but its so nice knowing you are making life a little easier for these children who need a little extra help. We still haven't sold our house and with the economy like it is, we probably won't be anytime soon...damn! The girls are growing like crazy! Kaci is literally running all over my house now, and Katee is learning so much in her little daycare/pre-school! Next year however, Katee will be in real preschool at a real elementary school for half a day. I can't wait!
GREAT NEWS! The psycho chick, switched crews at the coal mine and no longer works with my guy! They are on completely different schedules and rumors have it, she has a new boyfriend! I wonder who he's married to...
I'll try to be on here more often now, with the new job and the new hours, I've been working on getting the girls and I back on a schedule, but its going pretty good now!

Our First Showing...
So, today was the first showing of house. I'm not sure how it went because your not allowed to be there, but hopefully they loved it! I want out of this house and hopefully out of this town! The talk around our house, is that, if we sell our house for our asking price, after paying the Realtors and closing costs we will have a good $16,000.00 in our pockets! So we're either going to pay my car off and get a bigger, better house here OR take the money and run off to Texas. Either of the decisions is fine with me. Of course my Mother and my Grandmother want us to go to Texas, because they would be there shortly after us, but now, this town is beginning to grow on me.
The Crazy Bitch switched crews at work, so that means she no longer has ANYTHING to do with my boyfriend or my family. Which means maybe things will die down and I can run into her in this little town without shit being said. I know we will NEVER be friends or anything but I want peace in my life. I want to go to the store, or the bar without a fight and without name calling. I want a normal drama free life. Crazy huh!?!?! Hahaha!
Well, Katee's doctor called me, and of course, like I thought, they told me all of her tests had came back normal. They told me this before when she was one, and having seizures. She said I needed to just watch her and see what happens. Hopefully this is all over and we can move on from this.
With all the stress that's been going on in my life with the whole Katee situation, I'm going to go back to something I used to love, running. I will start running a mile 3X's a week, I want to get back into shape and exercise is an unbelievable stress reliever. I just hope I still love it as much as I used to!

August 1st 2008...HAPPY BIRTHDAY KACI!

She is now 1 years old! Yay!
Its been a while since I have wrote but I'm having some serious medical issues with my oldest. When she was 1 1/2 she had seizures for about a week and they never found anything wrong with her, but now, two years later, she's doing it again. As soon as I get a chance to actually sit and write I'll fill everyone in!

Weekend Update...
So nothing too exciting happened for me this weekend. Scott left to go to St. Louis for a week for work, and I'm alone with the girls for the next 5 days.
I was convinced to stay at work for another two weeks to help train the new girls, I'm a softy, I give in too easily! :) So now, my last day will be the 22nd, and I can't wait!
Scott and I are in the process of buying a new house! It isn't new, but it is new to us! I hate this process though and I now remember why I hated moving before! :P
Saturday was actually a really good day. Scott and I took the girls and our two dogs to the river on the four-wheeler (Its actually a Polaris Ranger, but anyway) we were all alone, the weather was amazing, the mosquito's were rare and the water was beautiful! Katee and I got in it and played fetch with Hunter (our black lab).
I was blessed with the day off today since my babysitter wasn't feeling all that well, but I decided that working isn't such a bad thing, I don't sit at home and eat all day like I do when I'm here! :) Very bad for your diet, very good about getting chores done!
On another note, one of my best friends is pregnant and they might be having some difficulties, she won't say for sure, but you can hear it in her voice when she tells you about her doctors appointments. These people are already parents to a three year old little boy and really want this other baby. I'm asking you to say a little prayer for all the families who want babies and have problems while trying. I think its a shame that the people who are amazing and want babies are the ones who have problems and all the drug accident, hookers, child abusers, etc... can have healthy babies. This just doesn't seem right to me. My friends will be in my prayers every night, and I wish them the best, I know that they want that child more than anything and I hope it all goes well in the end. A child is really a miracle and I hope they get to experience that joy again with this baby.
I hope everyone had a good Monday!

The WORST Car Trip EVER!!!!
So Sunday night I was on my way back home when one of the signs on I-70 said "Hwy 13 Closed North of Rifle." Well, I figured I'd drive to the highway and see if it was open by the time I got there, well it wasn't. I was told of a detour to Meeker, so I decided to go ahead and try it. The officer directing traffic told me it was only a 45 minute detour. I can handle that! Well, he was wrong! It took me 7 HOURS to get home, usually its only a 2-3 hour trip. First of all, the road I was told to take is a dirt road through a mountain and secondly, its full of huge ass wildlife! I learned that the hard way...
I was about 3/4 of the way off the mountain dirt road when a MOOSE ran out in front of me, making me slam on my breaks, run off the side of the road, and blow my front drivers side tire on a rock! Let me remind you, I'm in the middle of BFE with no cell phone reception and no other drivers. (I should know how to change my tire but I don't. Believe me though, I'm going to learn here fast!) I started to freak out, it was getting dark, cold and mosquito infested and both of my girls were screaming. They were tired, hungry and sick of being in the car, and we were stranded! An hour and a half later, a couple finally drove by and helped me fix my flat. Thank God for them! After the next 30 minutes I was on my way home! I left Junction at 4:00pm and arrived home at 11:00pm.
Lets just say, even though the road was absolutely beautiful, I'll NEVER drive it again, alone at least!
